With CurveExpo coming to New York next week, bringing lingerie and swimwear designers and retailers from across the globe together to shop the latest collections, it feels timely to write about UK brand Lascivious.
Lascivious is a label I encountered through StyleOnTheCouch in my efforts to expose readers to the wide range of fashion forward and directional lingerie labels out there. Lascivious is high up on my list of these. Founded by Creative Director Chloe Hamblen, who previously held roles at Alexander McQueen and Marlies Dekkers, the undergarments are deliciously salacious and created by a team with a talented flair for modern, sophisticated design.
For autumn winter 2012, inspiration comes from the notion of love as a binding entity; lustful, base, raw love, something you want to be chained to. Translating this mood and idea into design, the new collection features colours and textures relating to the theme of flesh and bone - gunmetal chain prints (within the Cara collection) and the flowing lines of Lola. A circular theme also runs throughout the three new ranges: eyelets, circular cut outs, mesh and components.
A series of classic collections along with luxury basics can also be found at Lascivious. If you are looking for an experimental and indulgent lingerie brand to stimulate your senses with decadent designs, a perfect weapon of seduction can be found in Lascivious.
