 For the past few weeks rain clouds have hovered over New York City's gleaming skyline, occasionally teasing us with bits of sunshine, only to retract with chilly showers. Yet last Tuesday, I was reminded of the promising days of trips to the beach this summer will hold in store at the preview of Luxe by Lisa Vogel’s 2013 collection.

Inspired by a trip to the Virgin Islands, creative director Lisa Vogel was able to capture the tropical islands beauty by incorporating many shades of blue as well pastel tones and hints of mother of pearl to several pieces for a touch of hardware in the new collection.

With a total of 12 looks each more stunning than the other, it is safe to say that a piece from Luxe by Lisa Vogel is must have for the season.
