Becca of Fashion She Says is one of the single most prolific style bloggers on the Web today. The NYC-based blogger has posted entries every day since launching her site nearly two years ago.
Fashion She Says serves as a triple-threat for fashion: documenting daily looks, spotlighting unqiue trends and curating Becca's own inspirations. Style-wise, the fashionista blends classic chic with clever creativity to achieve an overall imaginitive aesthetic.

Were you born with good fashion sense or did you have to work for it?
I’ve loved fashion forever; dressing is my favorite part of the day. I was born with an innate sense of style. My first fashion memories are shopping with my mom. She brought me to Bergdorf Goodman to pick pieces for the season. I also have a photographic memory for sartorial moments – my own, runways and editorials, plus a sense of how to mix them seamlessly.
What are some tips you might have for other up-and-coming style bloggers who want to get to your same level?
Post clear personal style photos (invest in a good camera and learn lighting). Blog consistently (I’m proud to have posted everyday since starting my blog in July 2009). Participate in the blog-o-sphere (comment meaningfully on favorite blogs). Remember “overnight success” is code for years of promoting & networking.
Who's your photographer and how did you make the connection?
My mom will be so pleased to hear that. She’s my photographer! She studied photography in school and even though she works in the business world, she never stopped taking pictures to document her life. She generously devotes time to taking my photo everyday. Thanks Mom!
In your opinion, what are the top three style blogs in the blog-o-sphere today?
These girls’ style makes me smile: Sea of Shoes, Cocorosa and Fashion Squad.
What would you like to be doing 5 years down the road?
These days I’m happy to make a living from fashion blogging. As a lover and collector of beautiful things, sartorial style is part of a larger lifestyle; honing an aesthetic is part of establishing personal identity. Eventually I’d like to work with designer collections/runway – either styling or reviewing them.
How do you see style blogging further changing the fashion industry as both blogging and fashion continue to evolve?
I love that style bloggers are inspiring fashion now, creating a cornucopia of high and low influences – a cycle that enables everyone to lead their sartorial destiny. While it’s refreshing to follow style bloggers for their unbiased coverage, I never neglect the bonafide fashion insiders (designers, editors, critics).
How would you define your own style? And, what are your favorite pieces in your own closet at home?
My style is haute-bohemian-vintage-Victorian-whimsy founded on fancy frocks, ballet flats and costume jewelry. Most of my fashion icons live in the past: Edie Sedgwick, Little Edie Beale and Nan Kempner. My favorite piece I own is a 3.1 Phillip Lim sequined jacket from resort 2009: white frayed chiffon cut like a classic Chanel cardigan and decorated with rainbow paillettes – it jazzes up everything and makes the dullest days sparkle.
