Catherine Malandrino and Lacoste Collaboration

The rumor that Catherine Malandrino would replace Lemaire at Lacoste has long been stifled. However, the designer will temporarily join the brand to work on a capsule collection. The French native expressed her honor to be asked to work on a Spring ’11 collection for the sportswear brand, explaining that she grew up wearing the preppy line. The collection will include more classic and romantic women’s pieces for those looking for an evening style to compliment their country club daytime look. Furthermore, the Malandrino collection will include chic accessories and handbags to match! We look forward to checking out Ms. Malandrino’s new creations.
