Whit was formed in 2009 when Whitney Pozgay left her role at Steven Alan as lead women’s wear designer to launch her own label. While the young Arizona native may have gotten her start with her aunt, Kate Spade, Pozgay has proven with Whit’s first two seasons that her success is rooted in talent rather than nepotism. Since the premiere of the label’s first collection for fall 2010, Whit has been widely praised for its understated femininity and experimentation with geometry and silhouettes.

Pozgay brings a fresh eye to apparel design, creating versatile pieces that can be mixed and matched for an impressive display of unique looks. The result is a collection of whimsical fashion that is already highly demanded by young women – and because many of the pieces are made from vintage fabric, quantities are limited and quickly sell out.
