Vivienne Westwood to Launch Watch Collection

From a SEX shop with Malcolm McLaren to luxury timepieces: punk provocateur Vivienne Westwood is set to expand her fashion empire with a collection of watches.
Fresh off a whirlwind show at London Fashion Week, the iconic British designer has partnered with Zeon Watches to design, market, and distribute the timepieces under the Vivienne Westwood brand; they will make their debut at the world's watch and jewelry expo, Baselworld 2011. Zeon Limited managing director said: "We are excited to be working with the iconic Vivienne Westwood brand to design and produce what will be a stunning watch collection." In turn, VW managing director Carlo D'Amario added, "It is good that we have signed a license with Zeon to create a collection of ladies and men's Vivienne Westwood watches. Westwood is extremely proud of her English heritage so we are pleased to be partnering with an English company."
Whether Westwood imbues these watches with her own rebellious spirit remains to be seen; what we do know is that they will retail between £100 and £500 and will be initially through select, high-end UK department stores and Vivienne Westwood boutiques before moving into similar retail outlets across Europe, the USA, and Asia.

I wonder how edgy they will be...
I'm excited to see what they look like. I'm hoping VERY edgy. I believe edgy accessories are they key to many outfits. Even more excited for them to come to the states.
I can never find a watch I like. Maybe this will be the one!
