Blame it on Mad Men, or the somewhat overwhelmingly cloaklike, oversized trend, but stylish ladies worldwide are longing for their waists. Fall 2010's runways, from Prada to Louis Vuitton, emphasized a womanly silhouette: an impossibly small midsection gives way to A-line skirts and curvy trousers. There's nothing sweeter than finishing off your dress with a bow, as seen from Wayne Tippetts and a classic wrap dress on The Sartorialist; we also love the more daring takes on the hourglass--exhibit A, Shinghai Shoniwa of post-punk revivalists the Noisettes rocking a corset and op-art carrot pants on Streetpeeper. And as temperatures begin to drop, we're loving Style Arena's feminine, flared coat; cozy and warm while still showing off a darling curve, it proves that chic doesn't have to stop when it's chilly!
