Look of the Day: The New Silhouette

As far as the fashion world is concerned, you can kiss your beloved (or despised) skinny jeans goodbye. For the upcoming season, the shape is maxed-out, relaxed, higher on the waist and wider through the leg. Julya, photographed by our friends at Slickwalk, embraces the baggier silhouette with a bit of rocker cool--we love her high-waisted carrot pants, cuffed and cropped at the calf. It's a shape that can easily be either dressed up or dressed down; Julya's opted for some casual, edgy appeal, sporting worn-in jazz lace-ups and a leather jacket studded at the lapels. Polished yet effortlessly hip--we were a bit tired of those cigarette legs anyway.
