Pastels and free-flowing maxi dresses have been a staple for top designers this season, but don't expect Barabara Bui to conform. Not only is she taking the optimistic route, with an overall vibrant collection- she is straight up rocking out.
Glam rock may be the only words to describe the infusion of sex appeal and a brooding aesthetic that Bui offers to the most adventurous of women. Countless appliqués and textures hit the runway, which made the show somewhat difficult to keep up with. By putting an inventive spin on classic trends, including blazers, military jackets, and skinny jeans, the intricate collection was in some ways, untouchable. Shoes were another focal point, which also neglected conformity. From beige, knee-high gladiators to black booties, it is truly a shoe lover's dream.
By the looks of her spring collection, Bui is clearly uninterested in boundaries.

I adore this collection. Edgy glam is one of my favorite looks.
