Massimiliano Giornetti's first endeavour with Ferragamo was leading the men's wear designs for over a decade. The Spring 2011 collection is only his second for women's wear, but he is undoubtedly making his mark in the field.
Without completely altering Ferragamo's classic style, Giornetti has managed to bring us gypsy-chic and plenty of sex appeal. Beautiful camel tones on sleek coats and bathing suits introduced the collection with several memorable looks. The styling was thorough and inventive, as bohemian head scarfs were paired with tailored suits and bold maxi dresses. This was exactly Giornetti's vision, as his inspiration came from the film, La Piscine, which takes place in St. Tropez in the late sixties. The collection ended with intricate, crocheted mini-dresses, and embroidered peasant skirts that reminded us summer was time to relax. We have been seeing the return of the bohemian trend on the runway, but how will the loyal Ferragamo woman react to the free-spirited collection?

I absolutely LOVED this collection. Some pieces I might not wear personally, but these were all great! I love the concept, everything! :)
The lines were so clean considering it was a boho chic collection-- what a great interpretation of the look
ohh the mustard look #5 !! and that dress that comes next (#6) .. but I also see looks I do not like, like #3, but maybe I just do not like that look on that model.. and I find #17 ugly, the silhouette is not very flattering and those straps makes the illusion she has rolls, which she has totally not! .. ohh.. #27 mustard again! I freaking LOVE that color.. I must find more of this.. and I also like the crochet pieces
