Editorial: Anne Hathaway and Mario Testino for Vogue's November Issue
Leave it to Anne Hathaway to show you just how the most elegant evening gowns are worn, in Vogue's November issue. Mario Testino snaps Hathaway in a story that every girl has fantasized about. The editorial is styled by Tonne Goodman, who had an array of decadent jewels and chic evening accessories at her disposal. The beauty came easy with a handful of top designers, including Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, and Isaac Mizrahi.
Although Hathaway holds her own throughout the spread, French actor Raphaël Personnaz served as a fantastic addition wearing sleek tailored suits. The gowns were all about structure and elegance with origami statement pieces, extravagant silhouettes, and sequined appliqués. Hathaway's make-up was simple, yet glamorous, forcing your attention to the gowns paired with silk gloves and diamond brooches. Happily Ever After takes a sharp turn away from recent editorial trends, which have been mostly raw and cutting-edge stories, and returns to classic beauty and the importance of formal wear. wish she was looking more at camera.
love this.... I think anne is so classic looking....
beautiful pictures ! she is stunning :)
I am obsessed with this editorial - Anne Hathaway is one of the few real starlets out there that still ooze "old Hollywood glamour" the way that Audrey used to do it- and that also brings me back to why I love Vogue! Vogue consistantly features classy and sophisticated women on their cover as opposed to trashy teenage idols and their covers are strong. <3
