Fashion Week is over for New Yorkers, but the Brits have only begun their week of style, and of course chaos. TopShop Unique kicked-off London Fashion Week successfully, with the unveiling of their spring 2011 collection. Attendees were chauffeured to the platforms in golf carts, as the sun lit up the runway. The Disco-chic models marched down the European Terminal at Waterloo Station to Steve Nicks' Edge of Seventeen. Stylist Katie Grand proves that Marc Jacobs isn't the only designer channeling Studio 54- the TopShop models dawned afros and fringed, lace-up boots. The romanticized collection had a slew of gothic undertones, and the most memorable pieces included sheer, tea-length skirts, cropped tops with fringe appliqué, and flared pants with abstract designs. Although the overall aesthetic may be somewhat daring, the versatility makes for a very wearable line. It also suggests, Brits really know how to party. Photo source: Fashionista
