It's difficult to classify Charles Anastase's spring 2011 collection, as it introduces one of the most contradictory concepts this season. Contradictory in the best way possible of course.
A reflection of the quirky, off-beat girl in junior high, who was simultaneously a vixen and perversely innocent. A difficult path to pull-off, but Anastase has managed to do so, throughout the entire collection. Sheer dresses with rosette appliqués, emerald tights paired with mustard platforms, and delicate lavender frocks dominated the runway. Anastase's vision for spring 2011 exuded more confidence and direction than his previous collections, and was acknowledged to be a turning point for the French designer.
The girlish models dawned modest, bobbed haircuts with bangs, and portrayed Peter Pan's I never want to grow up mentality. It will make you feel like a kid again, and you will want every single piece.

Loving the long slim silhouette.
yea right? makes every girl look so tall :)
You can definitely feel the complexity of the collection. You're right, Anastase does it in the best way possible. I love #14.
So cute! I do feel young again just looking at them. :)
