Profile

  1. How do I add a profile picture

Under the Menu option "Profile", you can add your avatar by clicking "Add A Photo"

  2. How do I say hello to a friend?

Once you've got your profile set up and you've linked with several friends, there are a handful of ways to communicate with others. The first is the Storyboard, which is the de facto place to leave a note on everyone's profile page. It's completely public, so whatever you write, others will be able to see.

Lookbooks also has its own e-mail service. One thing that makes this internal messaging service attractive is its conversation threading, which shows each message sent back and forth. It's a great way to keep track of who said what, similar to what you get with Gmail. All of this can be managed under the Inbox tab, which you'll find on the lefthand side of your profile.

  3. How do I create my Portfolio or an Album?

Lookbooks.com lets you upload and share your photos with others. To create an album, go to Album under Media in your profile and hit "Upload & Share All Your Photos." From there, name your album, hit "Save Changes" and hit "Upload Media". This feature will allow you to upload multiple images to your album at once. Click the Browse button below and select the images you wish to upload, then click the upload button to proceed. Please do not close this box until all images have been uploaded or your images will not finish uploading. Images must be jpg, gif and png files, and should be less than 2.00 MB each.

  4. How do I change my personal Information, i.e. email, name, etc.?

The option to change your personal information can be found under My Profile/My Account. Make sure to input your real email address so we can send you the confirmation email with the account activation link.

The Follow button is one great way for you to keep track of the latest updates from Lookbooks members. Updates will appear on your wall in your profile.
